Once the BARON FARHA logo was attached underneath the sofa it was sold at a retail price of $2350.00. More than doubling your profit. Most accessories have an up mark of 3% and furniture is around 2.5% 2.8%. The profit margin can almost double if the proper research is done on product, following the MSRP, and also carrying high quality looking goods. I have carefully designated this to be the area of profitability and concluded this to be the geographical market we need to be placed within. The market is the affluent clientele we need to have purchasing and hiring us as designer’s. Unlike the Design Center, this area is geared more towards the retail consumer and not just the Trade Designer. With that said, DESIGNE GALLERIE DALLAS will cater to both with an emphasis on the “End User” to gain maximum profitability. Each vignette will be created using a keen sense of color, fabric textures, visual’s and accessories in order to intercede with the shoppers psyche. We want to allow the customer to visualize the whole room as if it were in their home the way they see it. Movable walls can act as partitions for artwork and placed throughout the showroom in order to create “room boundaries'”. At the back, we will house a tall work station and library area for catalogues and fabric samples. A large wall behind the desk will will act as a drop for artwork/logo hiding the entrance into the back store room/art studio. The space will be outfitted with the following in order to achieve maximum potential: •  7-8 Living room vignette’s (sofa/chair’s/cocktail-side table’s, lamp’s and artwork) •  3 bedroom vignette’s (king size bed/mattress’/nightstand’s/lamp’s/accessories') •  3-4 dining set’s (table’s and chair’s. TBD)• Accessories will have an up mark of 2.8 – 3% to retail or MSRP.• Obtaining Artist’s work and showing in the store will have a 50% split from the priced piece.• Custom artwork will be priced at my successful pricing of Length x Width + 20%.Example : a 36” x 48” painting would be priced at $1728.00 + $345.00. This pricing strategy allows you to maximize profits calculating L x W while the 20% directly pay’s for material’s used. •  •  •  •  • All custom draperies’ or bedding shown in store will be sold at a 30-45% mark-up from wholesale cost. All Baron Farha upholstered piece’s will be considered “Private Label” and have an up mark at “wholesale cost” times 2.5 depending on fabric’s/leather’s selected. There will be no more than 3 effective pricing structure’s. IE: Mid Grade Fabric – Upgraded Fabric and Leather. All Baron Farha Case Good’s will have an up mark at “wholesale cost” times 3 depending on cost of wood’s, veneer’s, construction, labor, etc. All vendor case good’s and upholstery will be purchased at “wholesale cost” and priced at MSRP. All “Consignment” purchase’s will be bought at LOW pricing, refinished or reconfigured, then sold as “custom” with a times 3 up mark. Only “specific” pieces will be purchased that follow the design structure of the store. We WILL NOT “consign” any merchandise for client’s.*A simplistic and competitive price structure is to be set forth at the time of opening and price level increase’s are to be evaluated every six month’s depending on the market economy, sustainability of product, vendor performance and structured cost analysis. If we cannot make an inherent profit on item’s from any vendor, it is not likely we will purchase from them again in the future.DESIGNE GALLERIE DALLAS Request for capital: INVESTMENT OVERVIEW: OPTION 1.) For an investment of $100,000.00 you will have an equity stake at 10% of all net profits for 6 years with the initial investment being paid within 36 months. OPTION 2.) For an investment of $150,000.00 you will have an equity stake at 13% of all net profits for 8 years with the initial investment be paid within 48 months. OPTION 3.) For an investment of $200,000.00 you will have an equity stake at 16% of all net profits for 10 years with the initial investment be paid within 60 months. Lower Tier Investment Option: A.) Initial investment of $25,000.00 will give you a 3% equity stake in the company with a quarterly commission of 3% for 4 years. B.) Initial investment of $50,000.00 will give you a 5% equity stake in the company with a quarterly commission of 5% for 6 years.In conclusion, the “RETAIL” industry takes an abundance of hard work determination and dedication. As you can see from my proposal, it is not for the weak and is for the PASSIONATE driven individual. The Retail industry is a time consuming industry that is EVER changing with no notice. YES, the risk’s are there, but the reward’s are there also. It merely depends on how you look at life as a whole. I personally always look at the “Glass Half Full”. Retail is a huge part of people’s everyday lives as well as mine. We shop, we eat, we entertain and most Americans do not live within their mean’s. As this is a harsh reality of society, there is always an optimal way to capitalize on this as shown in my proposal. It is with great love for the industry and past success along with failure I present the following to you as my investor. Nothing in life is free and everything comes with a cost. I am aware that the dreamer in me shines like the brightest bulb, but also the business man in me would like to take the “dream” to a visualization.
